Why it gets these verdicts
VelectriX sells two fat bikes under one name. This one, the plain SUV, has a 250 W motor and no throttle, and passes everywhere. Its FAQ describes the SUV+ stepping up to a 500 W motor that 'is currently only legal for use in New South Wales', and NSW plans to end that class by March 2029. It's rare for a seller to say that so plainly, and it's right.
If you are buying second-hand, the motor label is the quickest way to tell them apart: 250 W is the SUV.

Who it suits
Two racks rated for 55 kg between them, on top of a 125 kg rider, make this one of the strongest load-carriers among the non-cargo bikes we list. It suits beach paths, shopping runs and heavier riders.
Torque is a modest 45 Nm from a hub motor, so on steep streets it's slower than a mid-drive. On the flat, it's an easy, upright ride.
