A state changed its rules, or a seller changed a bike’s motor or throttle? Tell us: one changed rule can flip a verdict for every bike in that state.

hello@ebikelegal.com.au

Ebike Legal is an independent Australian site. There is no phone line or shopfront; email is the way to reach us.

A figure is wrong or out of date

Send the page’s address and, if you can, a link to the provider’s own page. We check it against the source and fix the page if we got it wrong; how corrections work.

You sell e-bikes, or make them

Send a link to the model’s product page that states its rated power, throttle and EN 15194 status, and we’ll check it the same way as every other bike. Listing is free and can’t be bought, and neither can a verdict.

You represent a company we list, or one we don't

Tell us about a price change, a new plan or a mistake, with a public link we can cite. We can’t accept payment to be listed or ranked; how we rank explains why.

Privacy

Ebike Legal collects almost nothing about you. The privacy page says exactly what, and questions about it come to the same address.

Whether your own bike is legal

We can’t rule on a particular bike or a fine you’ve received; that is for police and the courts. The rule checker shows how the published rules apply to its specs, and the state’s transport department can answer the rest.

What we can't help with

We can’t see or change your account with any provider, and we can’t give personal advice. For a bill, a contract or an order, contact the provider directly.
