Why it gets these verdicts
Giant doesn't print a power figure for the SyncDrive Sport 2 motor, only its 75 Nm of torque. What it does print is the line that settles the law: pedal assistance limited to 25 km/h in accordance with Australian regulations (EN15194), with no motor support above that speed. EN 15194 limits continuous rated power to 250 W, so the bike is within every state's 250 W class.
Giant also lists a NSW Fair Trading certification code on the page, ULL-104273-EA, which NSW buyers can look up.

Who it suits
Giant is one of the few makers to publish a worst-case range, 50–180 km from extreme to ideal conditions, which is more honest than an 'up to' figure. With 75 Nm through the gears, it's a strong hill climber for touring and gravel.
The smallest frame on this listing starts at 169 cm, so shorter riders should check Giant's other sizes and frames with a dealer.
